Two awesome notes!
1. Made my first meal in a dorm kitchen!! It was a crazy cooking adventure—I’m not a chef…or usually someone who stands in the kitchen without risking it burning down. :< But today, I made me some tilapia! Stir-fried with some baby portabellos and cucumber slices with some raw green peppers on the side. :D The green peppers and cucumbers were free because I worked at a...

Eek, so many new lifters!!!
I can’t believe so many people I know want to lift! This is so exciting! :D I just want to work out with ALLLLLL of them. C: Ugh, this just makes me way too happy. Two new lifters are guys and one is a girl. Great ratio so far.
I just cna’t believe there are so many people who don’t know the magic of weights yet!

Lifting buddy!
Someone asked me if I want to be his lifting buddy!! HELL YES.
It gets me so excited when people are starting weights for the first time! :D
I actually just signed up for a weight training class and I’m surprised by how many guys in there have never really done a solid workout before. There was one guy who, in high school, only worked his arms and shoulders…sad…
In any case,...

And I love animals especially cows they taste fn delicious!
Religion is bullshit. It is based on myths and oppresses people.
Veganism is liberating and based on FACTS.
There’s the difference.
You’re not an omnivore. If you love cow so much,...

I'm doing a 100 push-ups challenge thing!
It’s working up to being able to do 100 consecutive push-ups. Why? Because it’ll make me a BAMF. I’m on day 1 of…I don’t know how many.
Since my max is 20 push-ups (ehh, I know. It used to be higher…), I start with Sets of 14, 14, 10, 10, and end with 15+. (I ended with 15 because ughhh my armssss….) These sets are on 60 seconds rest.
Next day will be...

THE MATH

A woman performing modified push-ups from her knees lifts about 55 percent of her body weight; a man lifts approximately 56 percent. That means a 140-lb. woman doing traditional push-ups...

I'm back!
Back from my backpacking trip! I worked in the base camp this year, so not too much hiking for me. :/ Oh well.
What’s funny is I made it through two weeks of backpacking perfectly fine. And then at the end, there is an optional “fun run” of 6-8 miles. I can’t run, but I really want to, so I decide I might as well jog as much as I can and walk the rest of the way.
Welp.
